24' 6 Aus Vintage Levi's Black Jeans, Straight Cut
The best thing about vintage Levi's is they have no elastic in the fabric, which we think make for the best feel, fit and durability. This is the "Dad" style, a loose straight fit, with a high waist and frayed hem, which you can trim to your liking. The last photo shows our very long legged mannequin wearing a sample pair.
The condition is very good with no visible flaws, but there may be a few signs of the resizing, around the waistband, that you can see in the photos. The raw hem has a lot of stray threads which you can cut how you like. See the photos (not on the mannequin) for the exact pair of vintage Levi's black jeans you are buying, these form part of the description.
The size is a true 24', size 6 Aus women. The jeans fall around the middle of the ankle bone, on someone of average height. They vary in length between a 27-28 inch inner leg (inseam), which is considered by some to be on the shorter side, so check a pair of your own jeans, to ensure you’ll be happy with the length. Please also check the size of the seat (hips and rear) will work for you. Keep in mind, there is no stretch in the fabric.
Please note, these jeans have been professionally modified, to a standardised fit. Alterations may include one or some of the following. Resizing around the hips or waist, a badge from a different pair of Levi's, refit through the leg, refit through the hemline. The badge on the back of the waist may have come from another pair of Levi’s, or the size may not match the label due to shrinkage of the denim.
Measurements of the garment while its lying flat. Waist- 62cm / 24 inches Seat- 96cm cm Inside leg length- 67cm Rise-30cm Ankle width- 21cm
Finding the right size for you.. To ensure the best fit, please compare the measurements below to another pair of jeans which fit you well. Remember that this pair will have zero stretch in them. Otherwise measure the smallest part of your waist to find your size in inches. This will get you a very slim fit, if you want something with a more relaxed fit, add an inch.
Buying second hand jeans is a really smart choice. You get the aged character of the denim that can takes years of wear to achieve and it makes a significant difference to saving the planet. The environmental impact of manufacturing jeans is really high. Huge amounts of water and chemicals are used. Plus you save money, which always feels good!
