The size is a true 31', Aus size 12-14, US size 8-10 women. The jeans fall around the middle of the ankle bone, on someone of average height. They vary in length between a 27-28 inch inner leg (inseam), which is considered by some to be on the shorter side, so check a pair of your own jeans, to ensure you’ll be happy with the length. Please also check the size of the seat (hips and rear) will work for you. Keep in mind, there is no stretch in the fabric.

Otherwise measure the smallest part of your waist to find your size in inches. This will get you a very slim fit, if you want something with a more relaxed fit, add an inch.
