A stylish cracker vintage leather motorcycle jacket, with a great masculine silhouette. The sleeve and pocket zips have a beige contrast piping, which design feature, often done in red, was first worn in the second world war, by the flying squad. It’s hard to gauge the age of the jacket but I’d say it’s 60’s or 70’s. There is contouring around shoulders, elbows and lower lapels. There are belt loops but no belt with it. Germany has a long history of making excellent leather products. The lining of this vintage leather motorcycle jacket is strong but soft cotton drill, in a puce colour and this is also typical of these jackets. The central zipper is strong. The leather is soft and supple.
The condition of this vintage leather motorcycle jacket is very good, with very slight fading and wear, and light wrinkling on the back of jacket, as seen in photos.
Size is Large. It will fit a chest size of around 42 inches. Marked size 52 (which is a German sizing for 42)
The measurements of the jacket are taken with the garment lying flat, and should be measured against similar garments of your own in the same way. Chest- 56 cm/ 22 inches Shoulder to shoulder- 47cm/ 18.5inches Length- 66cm/ 26inches Sleeve Length- 64 cm/ 25 inches
